[...] We will initially make a summary of text selection methods with the mouse and the keyboard, then we will see the various ways for creating and preserving text clippings. Lastly, we will see how to use drag and drop for text edition and to manage information (Internet forms, information fields in various applications). As this text constitutes the third from a tutorial on drag and drop, it is recommended to start by reading the first text. [...]

Sorry, my big error, you sure need to use Command instead of Option to select non-contiguous items ! Thanks for this !

But, "Metallic bar" really refers to the Finder Toolbar (at the top) instead of sidebar.

One VERY significant correction needs to be made, so it doesn't just confuse users more:

Non-contiguous selections are NOT performed with the Option key, but rather, with the Command key.

And, several minor typos are apparent ("are near each others" should be "are near each other", references to the "metallic bar" should all read "sidebar", etc.) But I assume these are simply minor translation issues.

Overall, a very good article - please correct the glaring mistake, and it will be even more useful ;-)

Major error in file selection. To select non-contiguous items in the finder, hold Command, not Option.
