Its end contains the largest clock making mechanism in Montréal.	36,5 m, high, the tower ends in a "bell-tower", although it cannot sound !
The tower was set up in 1922 with the memory of the sailors of the merchant navy who died during World War I. A hangar is still behind the tower.	A hangar is still behind the tower.
